Crito 50 First Grade Games
28 Aug 2020
As I reflect back to 2014, the Thursday of UC O-Week the Owls got to see one of their newest recruits in full flight. Freshly back from his European adventures the some of TAS’s finest, a young, very chubby Lachie Creighton wore the Owls jersey for the first time.
Since then Crito has represented the club each season, his role ever expanding from Club Captain to member of the leadership squad, VC and now our formidable skipper. Although lacking in stature his presence has helped bring this club together and I can comfortably say one of the founding reasons we are in the position we are in here in 2020.

As a rugby player is ability to bully both the opposition and his own team mate around the field is second to none, he has represented the Territory a number of times through the Griffins and Brumby Runners as well as playing for NSW Country throughout his juniors. However his skill is not the only reason he wears the C each week.
A friend of all, Crito has earned his position as captain offering nothing but pure dedication to the club week in and week out. From organising functions, committees and tours there is much he hasn’t been involved in over the past 7 seasons. At the halfway mark of the 2020 John I Dent season we thank you Crito for everything you have done, keep leading us forward, this whole community is here to support you.
